A rally-prepared 1965 Cortina GT, and a left-hand-drive Swiss-market car, which is an unusual thing to find. It was bought in March 2020 after a long spell in storage in Switzerland, then imported and registered in the UK in January 2023.
Nine-W Race Engineering of Stockbridge, Hampshire, prepared it for historic rallying, with more than £40,000 spent. The inline-four has been bored out to 1,561cc and fitted with Weber carburettors. The four-speed manual gearbox has Quaife internals and a Titan locking differential, and the car has new brakes and dampers. It ran in the 2023 Monte Carlo Historic Rally and a few minor events, and has been used sparingly since. It was last serviced in March 2025.
The Monaco Red paint with gold highlights nods to John Whitmore's 1965 European Touring Car Championship car. It sits on eight-spoke Minilite wheels with Avon Turbospeed CR28 tyres. Inside are black vinyl trim, a wood-rimmed wheel, red belts and a pair of USB ports. The odometer reads 8,408 km, which is about 5,200 miles. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Ford of Britain engine specification (1498cc Kent four with a twin-choke Weber, built at Dagenham). Power is null because sources disagree between the gross (about 83.5 bhp) and net (about 78 bhp) ratings. Weight and performance are null because I couldn't confirm any factory figures, and the period figures I know of come from magazine road tests.).
