This 1972 Ferrari 365 GTS/4 is not a factory Spyder. It left Maranello as a GTB/4 coupe, supplied new through Sidney Marcus of North London via Maranello Concessionaires and first registered to a Mr Kennedy. The open body came in the 1980s, when Panther Cars founder Robert Jankel bought it and had CP Autokraft convert it. It was reportedly the last of eight such conversions, built from measurements taken from a genuine UK right-hand-drive factory Spyder.
The ownership chain is well documented, running through several enthusiasts and dealers in the late 1980s and the previous keeper from 2008. In 2009 the car went to Cremonini Classic in Modena for a bare-metal restoration, reported to have cost around £250,000, with mechanical work by Sport Auto Modena. A further bare-metal respray by Barkaways followed in 2021.
It is finished in Grigio Ferro over Bordeaux leather and has air conditioning in factory style. The page quotes 800 miles, which presumably reflects use since the restoration.
