The Daytona was the last of Ferrari's great front-engined V12 GT coupes, with Fioravanti's Pininfarina shape built by Scaglietti and powered by Colombo's 4.4-litre V12. This is one of 158 right-hand-drive cars supplied to the UK, delivered new through Maranello Concessionaires. It is one of only four UK cars finished in Rosso Ferrari.
The history is well documented across four custodians. They include Scottish Ferrari dealer Colin Briggs and the collector Lord Mexborough, who owned it for 34 years. A refurbishment in 2018 brought a complete engine rebuild by a marque specialist, a respray in the original Rosso Ferrari and a full retrim in Ochre leather by O'Rourke Coachtrimmers.
The car is described as fully matching numbers, with chassis, body, engine and gearbox original. It shows 22,862 miles, believed to be its total from new. It comes with a history file, the original handbooks and warranty card, and the original tool kit, spare wheel and jack.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Ferrari official heritage specifications: 352 CV and 280 km/h; only a dry weight and a 0-100 km/h time were published, so weight and 0-60 are null).
