Chassis 15913 is one of only 158 right-hand-drive Daytonas delivered new to the UK, and its first owner was Anthony Bamford, now Lord Bamford of JCB. He specified Giallo Fly over brown leather, and had factory air conditioning fitted, which was unusual on a UK car. The original registration, JCB 123, suits it well.
The Daytona was the last of the hand-built front-engined V12 Ferraris, with Scaglietti bodywork and a Fioravanti design. This car was sold on to a London dealer, stayed there for almost 23 years, and returned to the Bamford family in 1999. It also appeared on the cover of Octane's May 2008 issue marking 40 years of the Daytona.
It has covered 33,919 miles and is described as fully matching numbers, with chassis, body, engine and gearbox all original, in its original colour combination. Ferrari specialists including Terry Hoyle and Bob Houghton have maintained it, and it has just been serviced. The history file includes correspondence recording Lord Bamford's original commission.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Ferrari official historical figures: 352 CV and 280 km/h; Ferrari quotes only a dry weight and a 0-100 km/h time, so those are null.).
