The Daytona was the last of Ferrari's front-engined V12 grand tourers to be built in the traditional manner, with Scaglietti making the steel and aluminium bodies by hand to Leonardo Fioravanti's Pininfarina design. This car, chassis 16581, is one of only 158 right-hand-drive examples delivered new to the UK, finished in Rosso Chiaro over black leather and fitted with factory air conditioning from the start.
Its first owner was the racer and hill climber Ernest Philip Rushton Scragg CBE, and it later spent time in The Patrick Collection in Birmingham. The odometer shows 17,480 miles, which is believed to be the original figure from new. Bob Houghton's Ferrari workshop has looked after it since 1995, and it has covered fewer than 1,000 miles since a full engine rebuild.
It received Ferrari Classiche Red Book certification in 2015, confirming the original chassis, body and engine. A documented history file, the original handbooks and the tool roll come with the car.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Ferrari official heritage specifications: 352 CV and 280 km/h; only a dry weight and a 0-100 km/h time were published, so weight and 0-60 are null).
£550,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
