The 365 GTC was Ferrari's V12 grand tourer of the late 1960s, a two-seat coupe built in only 150 examples. This one, chassis 12447, is the tenth of 22 right-hand-drive cars made for the UK market and was supplied new through Maranello Concessionaires. It was first registered as YPA 14G in May 1969 and collected as a 21st birthday present by its first owner, Jonathan Astor.
The ownership list is unusually well documented and includes Sir Anthony Bamford and the collector Carlos Monteverde. In 2000 Astor bought the car back, more than 30 years after he first took delivery. It was originally Blu Tourbillon, was later repainted Forest Green, and was returned to its factory colour, now called Blu Sera, in the 1990s. The interior has since been retrimmed in Sabbia hide.
The page lists 17,602 miles and an extensive history file. Work recorded includes an engine rebuild by Talacrest for £22,000 and annual servicing by Rardley Motors from 2002. The car is shown as sale agreed, with price on application.
