The Daimler SP250, known as the Dart in its home market, was one of Britain's more unconventional postwar sports cars. Fewer than 2,700 were built between 1959 and 1964, each with a glass-fibre body and a compact hemi-head 2.5-litre V8 originally developed by Daimler.
This 1961 car is a left-hand-drive example with a four-speed manual gearbox. It is finished in black over grey leather with black piping, which the dealer describes as its original colour scheme. The page also describes the car as numbers-matching.
The page says the car was restored under a previous owner and that the restoration is photo-documented. A history file comes with it, containing period factory literature, original manuals and correspondence from earlier owners. No mileage is stated.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Daimler factory engine specification (2,548cc V8, 140 bhp gross); performance and weight figures were from period road tests, not the manufacturer, so left null).
£49,950 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
