The SP250 is Daimler's only sports car, and its Edward Turner-designed V8 gives it a character quite unlike the four-cylinder British roadsters of the period. This example was ordered new through Stratstones of Mayfair in November 1962 to B specification, and first registered in April 1963 to an owner in Belgravia.
It still carries its original London registration, 641 FLH, along with the buff logbook and early MOT certificates. After a long spell off the road, the car was rebuilt from the bare chassis, and in 2007 an SP250 specialist overhauled the engine with new bearings, pistons, timing chain and rebuilt cylinder heads. Paperwork also covers a gearbox rebuild, a rack and pinion steering conversion and new brake and cooling components.
It is painted in British Racing Green with re-trimmed upholstery and has a four-speed gearbox with overdrive. The dealer says it has covered around 5,000 miles since the restoration was completed, though no odometer reading is given.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Daimler-published engine data (2,548 cc Turner hemi V8, 140 bhp gross); performance and weight figures from the period came from magazine road tests, not the factory, so they are left null).
£34,995 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
