The Daimler 250 V8 took the Jaguar Mark 2 shell and fitted it with Edward Turner's compact 2.5-litre V8, in place of Jaguar's six-cylinder engines. It was Daimler's only small saloon with a V8, built from 1962 to 1969. Distinguishing touches include the fluted grille and Daimler badging. This 1966 car has the three-speed automatic gearbox.
The page quotes 140 bhp, a 0-60mph time under 13 seconds and a top speed of around 112mph. Four-wheel disc brakes and rack-and-pinion steering were part of the package. This example shows 81,925 miles.
The dealer collected it from a French owner in Lille, who bought it in 2016. It has had substantial recent expenditure on the engine, and a history file comes with it. The chassis number is given as 1A11217BW.
