The Daimler Dart SP250 was the Daimler company's only sports car, powered by a 2.5-litre hemispherical-head V8 that gives it a character quite unlike the four-cylinder British roadsters of its time. This 1962 car is an early example, first registered in January of that year, and is finished in metallic green over a light green leather interior.
The history file records two major restorations. A body-off rebuild by KD Motor Engineers in 2000 included chassis repairs, new spring hangers and outriggers, and fresh paint and chromework. In 2023 the car went to Robert Grinter Restorations, a Daimler V8 specialist, for structural and mechanical work with invoices of more than £24,000. It has covered 67,250 miles and has had five keepers.
There is one known fault. The car smokes from one exhaust, which points to worn valve guides or seats on one bank of the engine. It is offered as a project for the new owner to put right.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Daimler-published engine data (2,548 cc Turner hemi V8, 140 bhp gross); performance and weight figures from the period came from magazine road tests, not the factory, so they are left null).
£25,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
