Listed today at Legends Automotive, Farmington.
This Chevron B25, chassis B25/73/15, began life as a Formula B car delivered to Geoffrey Freeman of Freeman Racing Enterprises in Ohio for SCCA competition. It is now asserted as a B27, rebuilt and developed by David Gathercole in 2009 to FIA F2/5 specification.
Power comes from a David Gathercole-prepared 1975 Cosworth BDG with Lucas mechanical fuel injection, last refreshed in late 2018 and with about five hours on it since. The gearbox is a Hewland FG400. The car has a record of success in Britain and Europe, including a pole position at Monza.
FIA HTP papers are valid through 31 December 2027, and the car is eligible for the HSCC F2 Championship. Spares include a selection of gear ratios, a spare nose and wheels with two sets of dry tyres and one wet set. The listing is marked as sold.
