Chassis PL3481 is a 1929 Bentley 4½ Litre converted to Blower specification. It left the factory with a saloon body. After an accident in the 1940s it was rebuilt with a 1930s body originally fitted to chassis MS3949, built by Competition Cars of Nayland. Their coach plate is still inside the passenger door, and the black paint carries a deliberate-looking patina.
The heavy-crank engine, number XT3629, has been fully rebuilt with a Phoenix steel crankshaft and connecting rods and high-compression pistons. It carries an original Amherst Villiers supercharger. The car has been raced and rallied for more than 40 years, and is equipped for events with long-range fuel tanks, overdrive and luggage racks. The interior is patinated red leather, with a supercharger oil-feed gauge on the dashboard as in period Blowers.
The car is currently garaged south of Lake Constance. DVLA shows an export marker against it, and the dealer says it will apply to reinstate the SV4904 registration if the car returns to the UK. The page shows the price as "Accepted", which suggests an offer has been agreed.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Engine layout and capacity are from Bentley Motors heritage material. I couldn't confirm 1929 factory figures for power, weight, top speed or 0-60, so those are null. About 50 road cars were built for Le Mans eligibility, but no build number was announced, so units is null.).
£830,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
