Aston Martin DB6 Vantage

This is a 1966 Aston Martin DB6 in Vantage specification, a right-hand-drive car with the manual gearbox. It was supplied new through HW Motors to Seven Dial Motors, at a list price of £3,332. Factory options included the Vantage engine, chrome wheels with white-wall tyres, a 3.73:1 limited-slip differential, Marchal fog lamps and two front seat belts.

The car has spent roughly the last decade with its current owner in France. In that time it has had a full engine rebuild by a specialist, with bills on file, and only a few thousand miles have been covered since. A new master cylinder was being fitted at the time of the dealer's visit. The odometer reads 78,934 miles.

It has been resprayed recently in Silver Birch. The interior keeps its original black hide, which is described as lightly patinated.
