£104,000 below the median asking price
Compared with 5 other Aston Martin DB6 Vantage for sale on Vertar (1965 to 1967). Median £329,000.
This DB6 Vantage is one of only three built with automatic transmission, which sets it apart from the usual manual cars. It is described as a matching-numbers car, finished in Oxford blue over black leather, in line with the original factory specification sheet.
Factory equipment includes power steering, chrome wire wheels (said to be virtually unused), a heated rear screen, an electric aerial and three-point seat belts. The carpets, headlining and instruments are reported to be in very good order, and the chrome and engine bay are also presented correctly.
The chassis cards show the car was first registered to the Jaeger Co Ltd in London. From the late 1970s until 2009 it belonged to two owners from the West Midlands. It is offered newly MoT tested. No mileage is stated.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin period factory claim (gross 325 bhp, triple-Weber Vantage engine). Top speed, 0-60 and weight left null because the quoted figures come from road tests, not the factory.).
