This right-hand-drive, manual DB6 was first registered in July 1968 and has spent more than 50 years with one owner, who bought it in 1973 and used it as his daily car for the next three decades. The DB6 was the last of the Touring Superleggera-era Aston Martins, with a longer wheelbase, more headroom and a Kamm tail that tamed the DB5's rear-end lift.
It is finished in Dark Blue Metallic with fawn leather. The engine was stripped and rebuilt in 1998 by Aston Engineering Derby. That work included 4.2-litre Cosworth pistons and hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel. The chassis was extensively rebuilt in 2006 at a cost of about £10,000, and the car was resprayed.
Recent use has been light. The odometer reads 80,960, and the MOT history shows steady mileage since 2010. The clutch was replaced in 2022, and electronic ignition was fitted in 2025. The interior has been removed for restoration, and a document folder holds the invoices.
