The DB6 Mk2 was built for only about 16 months alongside the new DBS, and just 240 were made. Only 70 of those had the Vantage engine, with triple twin-choke Weber 45 DCOE carburettors, uprated camshafts and revised valve timing for roughly 15% more power and torque. This is one of them, and the dealer says it is the only Mk2 Vantage to have left the factory with a five-speed manual gearbox and still wear its original colour, Bahama Yellow, over black trim.
The car is believed to have covered 41,000 miles from new and has had three owners. R S Williams completed a major restoration in 2023, including a full engine and transmission rebuild, and rebuilds of the brakes, suspension, cooling system and electrics. The alloy body was repainted in its original colour, the brightwork re-plated or replaced, and new wheels and tyres fitted. The original interior was kept, with the hides refurbished. The page puts spending with RSW at more than £200,000, and about 1,500 miles have been covered since.
It comes with a photo-book of the restoration, itemised invoices, an RSW dyno print-out for the rebuilt engine, published articles on the car, previous ownership details and a BMHIT certificate. The dealer supplies it with a health check, a service, a fresh MoT and 12 months' warranty. The price is shown as POA.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin Lagonda period factory claim: 325 bhp (gross) from the 3995cc Vantage-spec triple-Weber straight-six. Weight, top speed and acceleration left null because confirmed factory figures are unavailable.).
