The DB6 Mk2 was announced in August 1969 and is recognisable by its flared wheel arches and wider wheels and tyres. Only 277 were built across saloon and Volante forms, and AE Brico fuel injection with a higher-compression head was an option. This car is a 1970 example, originally finished in Bahama Yellow with black leather inside.
This is not a finished car. Aston Workshop is offering a build slot on a DB6 Mk2 whose chassis and bodywork restoration has already been completed at its County Durham facility. The next stage is for the buyer to choose interior and exterior colours and a mechanical specification, with engine, transmission and handling options available.
The car is right-hand drive with a manual gearbox. The dealer says the restoration can be tailored, including left-hand-drive conversion or upgraded engines and gearboxes. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin's period-claimed figures for the standard (non-Vantage) 4.0-litre triple-SU engine, 282 bhp gross. I couldn't confirm the factory weight, top speed and acceleration figures, so they are left null.).
