This 1966 DB6 Vantage was supplied new to a Mr R. Raymond of London, and its original factory build sheet survives. It records the Vantage engine, triple SU carburettors and chrome wire wheels, along with the registration JUW 6D, which still stays with the car. Factory service records run to May 1968, when the car had covered 26,670 miles.
R S Williams carried out a full body-off restoration in 2015, refinishing the car in Black Pearl and retrimming the interior in Deep Burgundy hide. The engine was upgraded to the company's 4.7-litre fast road specification, still on triple SUs, and paired with a ZF five-speed manual gearbox. The work was the subject of a nine-page feature in Issue 10 of Vantage magazine in summer 2015.
The car has four previous owners and is said to have covered little since the restoration, with R S Williams servicing it throughout. The history file includes a complete record of MOT tests since the work was finished. The odometer reads 94,820 miles. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin factory claims of the period: 325 bhp (gross) from the 3,995 cc triple-Weber Vantage engine. Top speed, 0-60 and weight are left blank because reliable published factory figures could not be confirmed.).
