This DB5 was built in late 1964 and, according to its factory build sheet, was made for display at that year's Earl's Court Motor Show. It was sold new through Eton Motors Group to a customer in Blakeney, Norfolk, originally finished in Autumn Gold with beige trim, and fitted with chrome wire wheels, a Motorola radio and a power aerial.
The car passed through R.S. Williams in the late 1970s and went to a new owner in June 1978. He kept it for almost 40 years and used it for classic rally touring across Europe, logging each trip and its mileage until a final visit to Normandy in 2015. The history file includes full service records and invoices, plus the original owner's instruction book.
A later owner commissioned a full in-house restoration by R.S. Williams in 2019. The work included a complete engine rebuild to the dealer's 4.7-litre RSW specification, along with a retrim in Tobacco Connolly leather and a respray in Snow Shadow Grey. It is a right-hand-drive manual car showing 41,021 miles, offered with a 12-month parts and labour guarantee. The price is on application.
