This 1960 DB4 is an early Series 2 car, the version recognisable by its higher bonnet scoop, aluminium mesh grille and rear wing line running into the cathedral-style tail lamps. It was supplied through Cyril Williams Motors to a Warwickshire first owner in June 1960 and has had three owners in total, the last of them for more than 25 years.
The car was fully restored between 2000 and 2002. The original engine was rebuilt to 4.2-litre Vantage specification with lead-free fuel provision, aiming for DB4 GT-level performance, and dyno-tested at over 300 bhp. The limited-slip rear axle was rebuilt with a higher final drive for touring, and the chassis, body, suspension, uprated anti-roll bar and brakes were all reworked. The bare-metal respray is California Sage, the brightwork was re-chromed and the interior was retrimmed in Suede Green Connolly hide with Dark Green Wilton carpet.
The odometer reads 83,949 miles, with less than 8,000 of those covered since the restoration was completed. A bound history file holds the restoration invoices, engine rebuild paperwork and dynamometer printouts.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Aston Martin's period claimed output (240 bhp gross) for the 3,670cc Tadek Marek twin-cam six; weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the widely quoted figures come from period road tests, not confirmed factory data.).
£475,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
