This is the third Bristol-engined Aceca built, one of only 169 Acecas made. The Aceca was AC's hand-built grand touring coupe based on the Ace roadster, with a tubular frame, aluminium panels and a rear hatch. Only the 1953 Aston Martin DB2/4 had offered a hatchback before it.
It was first delivered in September 1956 through the AC dealer Johnson & Brown. It keeps its Bristol 100D 1991cc six-cylinder engine, quoted at 125 bhp, with triple Solex carburettors. Additions include an alternator, a collapsible steering column, a Moto-Lita 16-inch steering wheel, Williams seat belts and dual-circuit brakes. The car is Silver Metallic with a grey hide interior, and it has been reunited with its original registration plate.
The odometer reads 19,800 miles. Two large history files and two workshop manual files come with the car. It won Judges' Choice at Blenheim Palace in 2017 and was shown at the Cartier Style et Luxe concours at the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The dealer cites recent expenditure of over £22,000 and says the car is eligible for the Mille Miglia.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only the basic engine layout is known (Bristol 1,971cc straight-six). AC's own 1956 figures can't be confirmed: the quoted Bristol engine power varies by state of tune, so performance and weight are left null.).
£99,995 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
