This is one of roughly 400 hand-built, aluminium-bodied AC Cobra MkIVs made between 1983 and 1996. It was supplied new in the UK in Rolls-Royce Royal Blue with a tan Ferrari-sourced leather interior, and it is recorded in the AC factory ledger. Power comes from a Ford 302ci V8 with a Borg-Warner five-speed manual gearbox.
In the early 1990s an owner who ran an offshore powerboat racing team had it rebuilt from the ground up in the team's Lethal Magic livery. A Vortech supercharger lifted output from 225 to 400 hp. The build also added bespoke lightweight wheels, an aluminium bonnet intake and laser-etched, anodised engine bay components. Some of these Lethal Magic details remain.
The fifth owner bought it in 2023 and commissioned a further recondition. That included a repaint in Daytona Grey, a new black interior and carpets, updated audio and a rebuilt supercharger. It has covered 1,555 miles, was recently serviced and passed its MOT with no advisories. A history file is included, and the car is in Shropshire.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only basic layout given (Autokraft-built, Ford 5.0 V8, front-engined, RWD). I couldn't confirm the factory 1989 power, weight or performance figures, so those are null.).
