A 1965 Volkswagen split-screen camper that is a German-built, factory right-hand-drive bus delivered new to the UK. The original identification plate is present, and the paint sticker on the bulkhead has survived, both of which matter to buyers checking authenticity.
The shell was stripped and repainted in period Titian Red and Beige Grey. A Space Roofs vertical pop-top has been fitted, with gas-strut elevation, a canvas with zip-open windows and an insulated lining. Mechanically it has a new 1641cc air-cooled engine, run in gently, and a new 12V wiring loom.
The interior is a bespoke build with a Rock n' Roll bed that folds to a 6ft double, an oak-veneered cabinet with a two-burner gas hob, a removable table and a leisure battery with split-charge system. It was sold to its current owner a few years ago and kept in a heated garage. It comes with an MOT and is tax exempt. The page gives no mileage.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Layout only (rear air-cooled flat-four, RWD, built in Hanover); in 1965 it came with either a 1200 or a 1500 engine, and pop-top conversions were by Westfalia or others, so power, cc, weight and performance are left null.).
£39,995 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
