This 1985 Vauxhall Nova Sport is presented as a preserved car rather than a restored one. It has had three owners from new, and the current keeper bought it in 2010. It was used sparingly as a second car before that and has been shown at Vauxhall club events since the mid-1990s. The page says the body has never needed welding, having been waxoyled from new, and that the only known replacement panel is the passenger door, fitted under warranty.
The 1.3-litre engine is described as standard, with the upgraded camshaft fitted from new. The carburettors have recently been rebuilt, and the car made 94 bhp when last set up. Changes are reversible and in a period fast-road vein: Bilstein and Eibach suspension, GTE tie bars and anti-roll bar, a Quaife quick rack, 16v brakes, and an F10 gearbox with GTE close-ratio fifth and a Quaife limited-slip differential. It runs on 15-inch OZ Ruote wheels.
Mileage is 78,817. Polar White paint is original, and the interior is brown Daytona check cloth with no rips or tears. The history file holds the original bill of sale, service book, nearly every MOT certificate and tax disc up to 2014, plus receipts and service records.
