The Hurlingham was Vauxhall's sporting coachbuilt take on the 20/60 chassis, and it was a rare thing even when new: only 52 were made, and the dealer says about 20 are known to survive worldwide. This one, chassis T1772, uses the larger 3.4-litre straight-six.
It was found in a dilapidated state in Suffolk decades ago and restored. It has since stayed in long-term ownership, most recently passing to the owner's nephew. The body is a two-seater with a dickey seat at the rear, which has its own removable windscreen. Period details include twin nautical-style air scoops on the scuttle. The paint is red and black, with beige seats and carpets.
The gearbox is a crash box with straight-cut gears, which whine in every gear except top. The dealer describes the car as mechanically strong and lightly patinated. A period photograph of the first owner with the car accompanies it. The page shows the price as "Accepted", which suggests an offer has been agreed.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Only general layout data for the Vauxhall 20/60 (front-mounted straight-six, rear-wheel drive, built in Luton). No confirmed factory figures for power, weight or performance for the Hurlingham. Engine size not given because it changed during production (about 2,762 cc early, about 2,916 cc later). The 20/60 ended in 1930, so a 1931 model year is questionable.).
£95,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
