This 1952 Silver Wraith carries limousine coachwork by H.J. Mulliner, body number 5493. The Silver Wraith was Rolls-Royce's long-wheelbase chassis for coachbuilders, and a Mulliner limousine is a formal, chauffeur-era car. This one is fitted with rear wheel spats, P100 headlamps and a central fog lamp.
It comes from long-term ownership in a French collection and shows an indicated 57,808 miles from new. The dealer says it has seen little use in the last three decades but has been run regularly. The paint is Tudor over Shell Grey. The front seats are in grey leather. The rear has its original West of England cloth, with twin picnic tables and fold-out footrests. The burr walnut woodwork is said to be original to the car.
The gearbox is a synchromesh manual, and the dealer says most driving is done in fourth once under way. The car has four good tyres and is described as unmolested under the bonnet. It is UK-registered as SKO771.
