This Silver Cloud III wears two-door saloon coachwork by James Young, the Jack Barclay-owned firm responsible for some of the most admired bodies of the postwar Rolls-Royce and Bentley era. It was built to Design No SCV150, of which only four right-hand-drive cars were made on the Cloud III chassis, with a further two in left-hand drive. The chassis number is CSC91B.
Power comes from the 6.2-litre V8 with twin SU carburettors, paired with a four-speed automatic. It is finished in Bordeaux over beige. The specification is generous for the period, with an electric sunroof, electric windows, tinted glass all round and a fitted thermos flask behind the rear centre armrest.
The dealer has looked after the car for around ten years and describes it as being in original condition, needing only regular maintenance. It came out of a collection of postwar Rolls-Royces and Bentleys, and the page reports two owners over roughly the last 30 years. The recorded mileage is 34,822, which the dealer says it cannot independently verify.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Rolls-Royce factory specification for the 6,230 cc L-series V8. Rolls-Royce never published power (only 'adequate'), and there are no factory figures for weight, top speed or acceleration for the James Young coachbuilt body.).
£375,000 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
