This Silver Cloud III is one of only 49 right-hand-drive cars built to Mulliner/Park Ward Design No 2045, the twin-headlight drophead coupe. The design is a development of Vilhelm Koren's S2 Continental shape. Mechanically the car is the Rolls-Royce equivalent of the Bentley S3 Continental, with differences limited to radiator, instruments and badging.
Chassis SGT611C was completed in October 1964 in red with an off-white hood and interior. It had two early owners before Frank Dale supplied it in 1990 to a museum collection in Japan. It returned to the UK in 1996 and passed to the current owner, who toured it in South Africa before bringing it home.
Recent work has been extensive, with a full mechanical review over several months. The coachwork was stripped, structurally restored and repainted black over a tan leather interior. The dealer reports spending more than £100,000. The car has air conditioning, a handbook, copy chassis cards and a large history file. No mileage is stated.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Rolls-Royce factory specifications (6,230 cc V8). Power was never published ("adequate"), and performance figures come only from press road tests, so they are left null.).
