The Flying Spur was H.J. Mulliner's coachbuilt four-door body on the Silver Cloud III chassis, and this is one of only 35 built in right-hand drive. It passed through the Boros collection of Flying Spurs, which was dispersed by Coys some years ago.
The car has since had a major restoration, including a full repaint in pale cream and a new interior of St James red leather piped in cream, with red carpets, a new beige cloth headlining and mirror-finished burr walnut on the dashboard. Modern air conditioning has been fitted, with the cabin vents made to match the dash.
Original specification includes electric windows all round with an emergency hand winder, white wall tyres, an electric aerial, Reutter seats and, unusually, a Philips record player. The boot holds period luggage and a wicker picnic set with glassware. The chassis number is SHS311C, and the registration 2HKH is available by separate negotiation. No mileage is stated.
