Rolls-Royce 25/30 Windovers Drophead Coupe

This 1937 Rolls-Royce 25/30 carries drophead coupe coachwork by Windovers, a style the coachbuilder is said to have built just three times in this configuration. It is set up for continental touring, with a very large boot, extra luggage space behind the front seats and occasional seats that fold out from the rear, so it seats four.

It has been with its current owner for 25 years. He found it in a US museum and brought it back, and it has since been used sparingly, spending summers at his home in Sweden. It is Swedish registered with EEC taxes paid. During his ownership the engine was rebuilt with a rebore, new pistons and valves, and a modern spin-off oil filter has been fitted.

The odometer reads 75,000 miles, which the dealer suggests may be genuine given the lack of wear to the pedals. The two-tone gold and brown paint is in good order, the brown leather interior is lightly patinated, and the beige canvas hood works easily and comes with a fitted bag. The car had been standing for a year and is being given a full service before sale.
