This is an early bent-screen 356 Pre-A, built by Reutter in June 1954 and delivered new to the United States. It is a left-hand-drive coupe, and it was found in a Texas barn where it had sat since 1978. The dealer reports that the major body panels are believed original, with no sign of crash damage or earlier restoration.

The car has been refinished in its original Turkish red. Inside, pale beige leather with corduroy seat inserts was matched to the materials found during disassembly. The engine is now a 1.6-litre flat-four (Type 616/1 T2) in place of the original 1.3, driving through a four-speed manual gearbox thought to be the original. The brakes, suspension and running gear have been serviced, rebuilt or renewed as needed.

It comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and was first registered in the UK in December 2020. The odometer reads 67,701 miles.
