The Packard 533 Golfers Coupe is a period American luxury tourer with a practical twist: a dickey seat for extra passengers and a small hatch in the rear for a set of golf clubs. This right-hand-drive car was supplied new to the UK in 1928 and has stayed here ever since.
The dealer says it spent nearly forty years with a single owner, dry stored and little used. It was bought in 2012 and went through a major restoration. The 4.3-litre six-cylinder engine has been rebuilt. The car is finished in Azure Blue and black, with a rear-mounted spare in a black cover.
Recent work includes new carpets, blue hide upholstery on the seats and a new black double duck hood. It carries the UK registration UC1064 and chassis number 144148R. The page gives no mileage. The dealer's listing shows the car as "Accepted", which suggests an offer has been agreed.
