This 1926 Packard 236 is the Runabout Roadster, one of the sportier bodies Packard offered in the mid-1920s. It sits on a 136-inch wheelbase and has a cleaner profile than many rivals because it has no side-mounted spare wheels. Packard was among the most expensive makes of its day, and few examples of the model come to market now.
The car had a complete restoration in the 1980s. Its most recent owner kept it for 16 years, stored in a temperature-controlled space and looked after by an on-site mechanic. It is finished in two-tone red over dark red with matching red disc wheels, and the interior is saddle leather. The tan canvas hood comes with a matching boot cover and side curtains.
Factory accessories include a radiator stone guard, cowl lights, drum headlights, a third centre headlight mounted to the steering and running-board step plates. There is also a golf bag door that gives access to the rumble seat. The car comes with US papers and has no UK registration yet, though the dealer says it can arrange this. The dealer reports that it runs well and that the engine bay is tidy, with some patina on certain finishes.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Packard Second Series Eight specs (357.8 cu in straight-eight, 136in wheelbase) from period factory specs; I couldn't confirm the rated hp, weight or performance figures, so they're null).
£100,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
