The MG RV8 was the last new MG of the old guard: a reworked MGB Heritage bodyshell carrying a Rover 3.9-litre fuel-injected V8, a five-speed gearbox and a leather and walnut interior. Most were built for Japan, which is why many cars on the market have a murky past.
This 1995 example was exported to Japan that year and returned to the UK in 1998. The page gives 26,000 miles on the odometer.
Recent work includes GAZ shock absorbers, a brake upgrade and a high-torque starter, with around £3,000 spent at Brown and Gammons last year. The dealer supplies it inspected and serviced, with a 12-month warranty.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Rover Group/MG launch figures for the RV8 (3.9 V8, 190 bhp, 136 mph, 0-60 5.9s). 'PAS' isn't a separate factory spec, so these are standard RV8 figures. Weight left blank: not confident of the official figure.).
£25,950 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
