The MG A replaced the T-series in 1955 and sold largely to the American market. This 1962 Mk2 1600 Roadster followed that pattern, spending its first 30 years in the United States before being repatriated to the UK.
It was restored around the mid-2000s and now has an unleaded-compatible engine and a five-speed gearbox in place of the original four-speed. The page describes the chassis as rust-free. A tonneau cover and full hood and weather equipment are included.
Recent work covers new leather trim and carpets and a fitted brake servo. The dealer says it has had enthusiast owners who kept it maintained, and it is sold inspected and serviced with a 12-month warranty. It is ULEZ exempt.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (BMC/MG factory engine figures (1622 cc B-series, 90 bhp gross at 5,500 rpm). Kerb weight, top speed and 0-60 left null because the period figures I know of come from magazine road tests, not the factory.).
£26,950 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
