Listed today at Classicwise, Southwell. Last checked today.
This 1969 MGC GT is a homage to the lightweight GTS Sebring racers, built by MG Motorsport rather than left as a standard road car. The dealer says it was constructed from the ground up and would cost more than £90,000 to commission today.
The engine is a competition unit, dyno'd at 240bhp, with a balanced billet steel crank, forged pistons, Carrillo rods and a ported and polished big-valve head. Triple 45 DCOE Weber carburettors feed it, and power goes through a competition overdrive gearbox with straight-cut gears.
It is equipped for track or rally use, with an FIA-style seat and harnesses, a roll cage, an aluminium fuel cell, a fire extinguisher system and an electrical cut-off. Suspension is race-focused on polybushes, and the brakes are power-assisted discs. The car shows 11,899 miles and nine previous owners, and the dealer says it will be supplied after a health check, service and MOT.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (BMC/British Leyland published engine figures (2912cc C-Series six, 145 bhp gross); weight and performance left null because the period figures are from road tests, not the factory).
£49,950 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
