This 1974 MGB has been built as a fast-road and track-day car rather than kept standard. It was owned by an active MG Car Club member who used it for club rallies and track outings, and it was a familiar car within the club.
The engine is a 1950cc Oselli Stage 2 unit, lightened and balanced, with a Weber 45 DCOE carburettor. Other changes include a tubular long-branch exhaust, electronic ignition, EBC discs and pads, adjustable Spax dampers front and rear, a large-diameter roll bar and a battery master switch. It sits on new 15-inch alloy wheels with 185/15 radial tyres.
It is finished in Damask red with a black interior and has a manual gearbox with overdrive. The page lists 14,000 miles and says two large files of history and invoices come with the car.
