This is an early "pull handle" MGB Roadster, first registered in November 1964, and it has been built to a works rally look without ever being used in competition. The 1994 rebuild by Maidstone Sportscars went down to a bare shell, which was repainted in Old English White. The car was then de-bumpered and fitted with an FIA roll bar.
Mechanical work covered a gas-flowed cylinder head, a 45 DCOE Weber carburettor, a stainless steel exhaust manifold and a rebuilt all-synchro gearbox with overdrive. Suspension and brakes were rebuilt, with new discs and calipers, a new fuel tank, radiator and wiring loom. The page says the car has covered about 7,000 miles since the rebuild.
Before the work it had four owners in its first thirty years and about 65,000 miles. It has had one owner since completion. Invoices for the parts and panels are on file.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (BMC/MG factory specification (95 bhp gross, 1798cc B-series); performance and weight figures were mostly from period road tests, not published by the maker, so they are left blank).
