The MG C was meant to replace the Austin-Healey 3000, pairing the MGB's bodyshell with a six-cylinder engine. Early press criticism of a heavy nose and understeer hurt its reputation, and production ended after about two years. Only around 4,000 roadsters were built, which makes it a rare car today.
This 1968 example is finished in Tartan red with black leather, chrome wire wheels and overdrive. It shows 40,000 miles, which the dealer attributes to its early life on Jersey. It was first registered there and came to the mainland in 2015. The page says it was restored in the 1990s by MG specialist Naylor Bros and has had ongoing maintenance since.
It comes with a history file of invoices and MOTs, plus an original BMC service book. The dealer says it will be supplied inspected and serviced, with 12 months' warranty.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (BMC/MG published engine specification (2912cc C-Series straight-six, 145 bhp gross); kerb weight, top speed and 0-60 omitted because commonly quoted figures come from period road tests, not confirmed factory data).
£26,950 since it was listed on 5 November 2026. No changes yet.
