Mercedes-Benz 300SL SportLine

This is the first SportLine, SLSHOP's reworking of the R107 300SL. The company's team spent more than two years developing it, and it is a restomod rather than a standard restoration. The car was built up from the ground up around a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The engine work includes a lightened and balanced flywheel and crank, a ported and polished head, a performance camshaft and larger injectors. An Omex ECU and a coil pack replace the distributor, and there is a bespoke stainless exhaust. The chassis has adjustable progressive springs, bespoke dampers and anti-roll bar, aluminium rear trailing arms, a limited-slip differential and uprated vented, grooved discs.

Inside, it has Nappa leather with Alcantara centres in beige, hand-stitched trim, heated seats and a Becker stereo with Bluetooth. It comes with both a black fabric soft top and a black hard top. The page quotes 6,000 miles, and also says 4,000 miles since the rebuild. It is sold from a private collection of Signal Red R107s and comes with a 24-month SLSHOP warranty.
