About this car
A late R107 300SL, finished in Smoke Silver over Creme Beige and showing 38,710 miles. That is a low figure for a 1989 car, and the history on the page backs it up.
It was ordered new through Carols of Wolverhampton. It then passed through a handful of private owners, including a long, light-use spell in the 1990s and 2000s. It had covered 32,809 miles by 2009 and about 36,000 by 2016, when it moved to Glasgow.
The original service book was lost, but a replacement shows regular servicing since 2014. The file also holds MoT history, service invoices and an engineer's valuation report that praises its originality and condition. The dealer has looked after the car for the last seven years and sells it with a 24-month warranty.
