This R107-generation 300SL was first registered on 1 August 1986 and has covered about 24,000 miles from new. It was supplied new through Puttocks of Guildford with ABS, electric mirrors and additional rear seats. Its first owner's family later kept it, and it is said to have been bought as a 30th birthday present for Abbey Clancy by Peter Crouch.
The service book is original and shows regular stamps from the supplying dealer, then Gatwick, then the SL Shop from 2015, and most recently work on the Isle of Man. The latest entries are at around 23,600 miles. Repair invoices and MOT records going back to the first test in 1989 are also on file.
The paint is Nautical Blue Metallic (929), with a matching hardtop and a dark blue fabric hood. Inside is grey leather (278). The car is described as starting and driving as it did when new.
