Mercedes-Benz 300SL

This 1988 R107 300SL is a late-production car, supplied new through Malaya Garages in October 1988. It has the later, more comfortable seats, and it still has one of its two original key fobs. It is finished in Deep Blue (900) with Grey Karo Sport Check trim and the optional rear seats with lap belts.

The odometer reads 76,776 miles. The dealer says the car is largely original and unmolested. Walnut veneers, chrome, wheels and the soft top are described as unmarked, and the vinyl rear windows are clear. A hard top is included. The car has a Blaupunkt Paris RCA 42 radio with an electric aerial, and it has been fully undersealed.

Documentation is thorough. The page lists the original book set and folder, the tool kit, a first aid kit and a warning triangle. It has a stainless steel exhaust and has been recently serviced. The last owner kept it for a couple of years. Before that, one local owner had it for most of its life and serviced it at the same garage every year.
