Mercedes-Benz 220 SEB Coupe

An early W111 220 SEB pillarless coupe, built in July 1961 in right-hand drive with the less common four-speed manual gearbox. It is described as a matching-numbers car for engine, body and colour.

The bodywork has had a bare-metal repaint costing £28,000, finished in its original factory colour, code 516 Medium Red. The cream leather looks original, with a small tear to the driver's seat pad. The headlining is intact, and the wooden dash, manual sunroof, period radio and boot floor are all described as original and in good order.

The rear axle has been fitted with a longer final drive for more relaxed cruising. The instruments worked on test, and the car starts cleanly hot and cold. Recent work by the current owner is documented alongside older receipts, with spare keys and the log book present. The 220 SEB registration is not included, but can be bought with the car for £77,000 combined.
