2023 McLaren 750S Spider
£234,950
About this car
The 750S Spider takes the 720S template and sharpens it: a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 now making 740 bhp and 800 Nm, quicker steering and Proactive Chassis Control III. McLaren quotes 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds and a 206 mph top speed, and because the carbon tub needs no extra strengthening the Spider carries just 49 kg over the coupé. The hardtop folds in under 11 seconds, so the open-air car gives up very little of the coupé's focus.
This 2023 (73) UK-supplied example has covered 3,592 miles and is finished in MSO Amethyst Black Metallic, a £8,200 paint option, over Carbon Black Alcantara. Around £70,000 of options are fitted. The headline items are the £7,500 electrochromic glass roof and the £10,500 Underbody Carbon Fibre Pack. Further carbon appears on the front splitter, fenders and louvres, diffuser, air intakes, mirrors, door inserts and headlight surrounds.
The rest of the specification leans towards usability. It has the vehicle lift system, a Bowers & Wilkins audio upgrade, 360-degree park assist, carbon ceramic brakes, heated memory seats and a stealth exhaust finish. Gloss black 10-spoke turbine wheels and McLaren Orange calipers add contrast against the dark paint, and the whole car is wrapped in paint protection film.
