This is one of only 27 Mistral Spyders built with the 3.5-litre version of Maserati's twin-cam six, a engine with lineage back to the 250F grand prix car. The Pietro Frua design was bodied by Maggiora, and this car also comes with the rare factory hardtop.
Maserati Classiche information shows it was built in July 1965 as a left-hand-drive car, finished in Nero over white leather, and sent to London before moving to the United States. A Massachusetts owner kept it for more than 30 years, during which its original Lucas fuel injection was replaced by triple Weber carburettors, which remain with the car. It later joined a Maserati-themed museum collection in California, where it was kept unrestored.
It returned to Europe in 2016 and was sensitively restored by specialists. The page reports only a handful of miles since, with 33,680 miles showing. A build sheet, order form, shipping form and technical data sheet accompany the car, and power is quoted at 235 bhp through a five-speed ZF manual gearbox.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Engine and layout figures are well-established Maserati specs (3,485 cc twin-plug inline-six with Lucas injection). Power, weight and performance figures are null because the 1960s factory figures (CV/SAE basis) can't be confidently verified.).
£450,000 since it was listed on 6 November 2026. No changes yet.
