Lotus Europa S

The Europa S was Lotus's more relaxed take on the mid-engined formula, with a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine, a six-speed manual gearbox and a quieter, better-equipped cabin than the Elise. This 2006 car is one of only 458 built, according to the dealer.

It began life as a Lotus press car, which explains the 91,338 miles: roughly half were covered in the first year. It also appeared on the Fifth Gear television series. Finished in Metallic Graphite Grey, it has a black leather interior with yellow stitching, retrimmed by the selling dealer.

The history file includes work by Paul Matty, Lotus Silverstone and the dealer. More than £10,000 has been spent in the last 18 months, including a Larini exhaust, a rear shock absorber, new brake pipes, discs and pads all round, a front lower ball joint and a new radiator.
