The XK140 SE was Jaguar's more powerful take on the XK120 formula. The SE specification (sold as the MC in the US) used the C-Type cylinder head on the 3.4-litre straight-six, and the XK140 brought more cabin room, rack-and-pinion steering and telescopic dampers. This is the open two-seater roadster, the most driver-focused body in the range.
This example has had a full body-off restoration and carries an aluminium body, finished in silver. The engine, gearbox and rear axle have been rebuilt, and the brakes, steering and suspension are described as sorted. The interior has been retrimmed in black and the car has a new mohair hood.
It shows 37,500 miles and is right-hand drive with a manual gearbox. The page lists the year as 1956, though the dealer's text refers to it as a 1955 car. The price is on application.

The maker’s official figures for this model, not measurements of this car (Engine layout from Jaguar XK140 factory specification (3.4-litre XK straight-six). Power left null because SE cars came as 190 bhp or 210 bhp with the C-type head. Weight, top speed and acceleration left null because the factory figures can't be confirmed.).
