The XJR-15 was JaguarSport's road-going take on the Group C XJR-9: a carbon fibre and Kevlar composite car with a dry-sump 6.0-litre V12, a straight-cut six-speed gearbox and race-derived suspension. Only 27 were built in road specification, which makes it rarer than the McLaren F1.
This is chassis 021, built in 1991 and delivered new to Japan. It stayed in Southeast Asia until 2014, when it came to the UK and was registered. It shows just 1,380 miles and is described as highly original, finished in Mauritius Blue over a Savile Grey interior.
In 2017 Forest Custom and Classics overhauled and recommissioned it for road use, taking the car apart to refurbish or replace the bodywork, suspension, engine, transmission and brakes as needed. The work is documented in a detailed work log that comes with the car's history. The price is on application.
