The Commemorative was the send-off for the E-Type: the last 50 right-hand-drive roadsters, built in the final weeks of production in 1974. All but one were finished in black with cinnamon leather, and this is one of the 31 made with a manual gearbox. Its chassis number places it fourth off the line, and the bronze commemorative plaque is still fitted to the glovebox cover.
This car has had a single owner since it was two months old and shows 18,777 miles. It was restored in 2015, including a bare-metal respray, a new interior and re-chroming of all the brightwork, at a stated cost of £312,000. It is a matching-numbers car.
It comes with its original manuals, tool roll and jack, plus a factory hardtop. The black paint is paired with a black canvas hood, chrome wire wheels and cinnamon leather seats with contrast stitching.
